Voyage are delighted to announce that as a registered adviser for Same Day appointments this service has now been extended to Tier 2 leave to remain applications for Voyage clients.
In practice the applicant(s) will need to accompany their adviser to same day appointments initially to provide their "biometrics" however thereafter will be able to depart leaving their Voyage adviser to close the process for them at the PEO appointment.
This will be very attractive to UK employers who need applications processed swiftly (4-24 hours) rather than waiting for 4-6 weeks for postal routes!

In further news on the Tier 2 program, please be advised that from February 22nd the following elements have been added to the Sponsorship Management System for UK based (registered) employers:
· The ability for Tiers 2 and 5 Sponsors to create, assign and pay for certificates in batches.
· A Sponsor Note facility allowing the Sponsor to inform the UK Border Agency of minor changes to a certificate before it is used.
· A facility which allows Sponsors to create a certificate based on a workers previous certificate.
· A facility allowing the Sponsor to input the details of a group or batch certificate based on the details of the previous certificate within the group or batch.
· A facility allowing a Level 1 User to transfer single, group or batch certificates between the Sponsors other users.
· The ability for Tier 2 A-rated Sponsors to confirm that they will support the overseas worker in order that they do not claim public funds
